Long talks, sipping your drink of choice, walking hand in hand, your relationship is built on comfort and communication. The wedding experience isn’t just about the pretty photos (and trust me, there will be plenty of those!), it's about our communication throughout the booking process. It's about building a relationship of trust because I care about your wedding day just as much as you do.
Your experience matters.
It's booking to delivery, and everything in between.
and it's more than just photos!
"I feel so blessed to have you not only as an amazing photographer for our big day, but as a friend! I have told so many of my friends about you as we talk weddings and I just feel so lucky to have met you! I feel like we’ve been friends for years!"
"Melissa was AWESOME! She blended right in with our family and friends like she was an old friend, while maintaining professionalism. Her photos are stunning and captured the essence of our wedding day perfectly. We couldn’t recommend her more highly for your big day!"
Connect: Let’s hop on a FaceTime call. I want to know you. BYOB (Bring Your Own Brew) and we will get to know each other more. If you happen to be in Jackson, we should totally meet up by my local coffee shop or at a local brewery near me. They are two of my favorite spots to meet. Once you book, we'll be able to set aside some more time to hang out in person.
Book: When you are ready to book, I’ll send you my online contract and invoice through my client portal. You’ll find other helpful info in there, like a customized timeline for your wedding day, and style guides for planning your engagement session with me. A 50% retainer is required to reserve your wedding date on my calendar.
Engagement: We’ll set a date. You’ll get to dress up. We get to spend some one on one time together. We might even finish our evening with a drink and food at a local spot. One thing I know for sure is this: at the end of our session, you’ll know exactly how I work, and I’ll know just what lights up that spark between you and your fiance. This means less posing and more authentic photos on your wedding day.
Wedding: It’s game day. All you have to do is show up and enjoy your day (maybe sip some mimosas and snack on breakfast foods while getting ready, or have a great beer) knowing I’ve taken care of all the rest. I’ll be there, directing as needed, and other times fading into the background so that I can capture all the important parts of your day with a documentary approach.
Enjoy: Wedding photos will be delivered in 6-8 weeks from your wedding day. You will have access to all the edited photos for viewing, printing, and sharing with family and friends. Once you get your photos, I want you to remember what it felt like to celebrate saying yes to forever with your favorite person.
Preserve: If you ordered an heirloom album, you will receive your proofs shortly after your gallery is live and we will begin the customization process. To truly set the mood, we might even include some champagne and treats to celebrate!
