When your girl says she wants photos of cactus on her wedding day, you make it happen. Let me just tell you, we had PLENTY of cactus to work with for Lexi and Isaiah’s spring wedding at Troon North. I remember her telling me how much she loved seeing cactus when we got together last year for their engagement session at the Desert Botanical Garden, so I knew we needed to incorporate it into their wedding day photos as well.
If you want to read more about how they met and how he asked, head on over to their engagement session.
Today is all about these cuties officially saying “I do!”

Lexi’s Favorite Moment:
My favorite moment of the day was the moment my dad and I stepped up to walk down the aisle. There were so many emotions and, even though I didn’t expect to cry, I started crying then. Everything was so beautiful and I was so excited to meet Isaiah up at the front. I walked down the aisle to “Flying” from the Peter Pan (live action) soundtrack. Peter Pan was one of my favorite movies when I was younger and the music just makes me so happy, so I wanted to incorporate it.
Isaiah’s Favorite Moment:
My favorite moment was when Lexi and I were announced Husband and Wife, and we were able to share our first kiss as a married couple. It was the apex moment of a wave of emotions, where all of the time, energy, and love we have shared was combined.

Isaiah’s Favorite Detail:
My favorite detail was Lexi’s dress. It suited her personality extremely well, and it looked fantastic on her.

Lexi’s Favorite Detail:
I think my favorite detail would have to be our sweetheart table- it was so sparkly! I asked my aunt to put it together for us, since she is a wedding planner, and she did an amazing job! I also loved the dessert bar, of course, because I love dessert!

Our first dance songs were “All your life” by The Band Perry, and “Lovin’ you is fun” by Easton Corbin. We really like the Easton Corbin song and I would have had that one exclusively but it is pretty fast. We wanted to start off a little slower to dance together a little bit and take in the moment before we went into our crazy flips and spins and such! I chose the song from the Band Perry because I really like it! And it says “I just want to be the only girl you love all your life…” which is true!
“I ditto Lexi’s comments regarding the music choices we utilized. They were fun, exciting, and fit the moment well,” Isaiah.
