Last weekend I went on a trip for this gorgeous Tennessee Destination Wedding, and it was the cutest little rustic woodland wedding ever, with a princess! Okay, maybe not a literal princess, but Mrs. Mandy Wilson totally looked like a Cinderella in that wedding dress of hers. Mandy and Ethan’s wedding was held at The Wren’s Nest in Murfreesboro, TN, and I’m so thankful that I could be their intimate wedding photographer for the day!
We pushed through the chance of rain, a partially sunny afternoon, power outages, and a whole lot of positive attitudes (aka mimosas) throughout the day! I’m seriously so thankful that the weather decided to hold off just long enough for me to grab a handful of family, bridal party, and bride/groom portraits before the sudden downpour commenced after the ceremony. Everyone looked amazing, and the bridal party was such a great group to work with throughout the day! Ethan and Mandy had the sweetest details planned out for their wedding day, and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to spend my Saturday with than these two and their closest friends and family.
Without further ado…. here are Mandy and Ethan’s wedding day highlights!

I asked Mandy and Ethan to tell me what their favorite parts were about their wedding day, and what their favorite detail was. While I loved all of their favorites too, there was one additional thing I have to add as a favorite moment of mine.
“One of my favorite moments of Ethan and Mandy’s day was when Mandy opened the gift from her dad. The shred of happy tears going around as Daddy’s little princess received this super cute Cinderella Carriage brought me on the verge of tears.” – Me 😉
One thing you have to know about Mandy, is just how close she is with her family. I see her going on the sweetest Wine Tasting dates with her mom, while she spends her Disney Princess love with her dad. My other favorite was seeing the simplest of gifts from her brother, and just how emotionally intimate their moment was. You could tell it was a moment only to be understood by the two of them!
“My favorite part was the look on Ethan’s face when he first saw me.” – Mandy
Mandy was very adamant about us not doing a first look, she knew she wanted to see him for the first time as she walked down the aisle.
The moment I saw Ethan’s face the first time seeing Mandy in her wedding dress… I was about ready to cry too! These two really are the perfect fit!

“My favorite detail was definitely the lighting, and the flower wall.” – Mandy

“My favorite detail was the groom’s cake because it looked too good to eat.” – Ethan

“My favorite part was the first dance.” – Ethan

In addition the amazing family and friends that came out to celebrate Ethan and Mandy’s wedding day, we’d like to give a shout out to all of the ones that helped with the details that made this day extra special!
